Port

Port wine is typically a sweet, red wine, often served as a dessert wine, and comes in dry, semi-dry, and white varieties.

Fortified wines in the style of port are also produced outside of Portugal, Australia, South Africa, Canada, India, Argentina, and United States. Vintage port is made entirely from the grapes of a declared vintage year and accounts for about two percent of a year's total port production.

Single Quinta Vintage Ports are wines that originate from a single estate.

Pink port is a relatively new variation on the market, first released in 2008 by both Croft and Taylor.
