White Wines

grape variety employed and subsequent blending is probably the single most important determinant of the taste and aroma characteristics of the final wine.

Grape types such as Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Semillon & Chenin Blanc among others, are considered to be classic white grape varieties.

These grape types can be found in both Old World and New World wine locations.

Traditional cultivated in just one or two locations this is where the Old World Wine grapes have their Spiritual home, where as in some New World Wines the grapes are very well travelled such as the Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc in New Zealand.
